  • Julie Marques

Julie was first inspired and trained in Classical Pilates by Mercy Sidbery. She studied mat at the Working Body and later became fully Certified in Stott Pilates. Julie has taught group Pilates classes, with emphasis in Barre and mat for over ten years. She works with Private clients both on specific physical issues, fitness goals and overall health.

  • Rachel Maas

Rachel first found Pilates online when she was trying to stay in shape in college. After trying out fitness classes at her gym, she became obsessed with the Reformer. It was a great workout that helped her prevent injuries in her CrossFit classes and left her body feeling healthier and stronger each day. She is currently certified in Mat, Reformer, and all Apparatus through Balanced Body and tends to have a more fitness based approach to her classes. Her favorite props to use during class are the ring and the bosu. She loves trying out new moves each week with her class.

  • Erika Matos

Erika takes a fun, fresh and holistic approach to fitness by integrating multiple disciplines and innovative styles. The fluidity, precision, and clean graceful lines of Pilates immediately resonated within her, igniting a passion to teach others about the many benefits of deep core strength and enhanced body awareness. Her Pilates journey began in 2003 as a way of rehabilitating her body and rebuild foundational strength from sustained injuries in a car accident. Erika is certified in All Mat, Reformer, and Apparatus Modules through a Balanced Body Curriculum at College of San Mateo; In 2012, Springboard Training at EHS Pilates in San Francisco was added to her repertoire, and shortly after, in 2013, she added prenatal and postnatal Preggo Pilates certification. One of her strongest skills is her capacity to assess the physical condition of the students and making appropriate changes in the methods required for maximum effectiveness. With utmost patience, she evaluates the level of the student/client and teach proper exercise techniques with the correct use and safety of equipment, with strong focus on rehabilitation.

  • Inez Galvez

A recent transplant from NYC to the Bay, Inez left her fashion design career to embark on new adventures in health and wellness. Coaching and empowering clients to become their very best, HEALTHY selves has become her calling. Inez decided to pursue her comprehensive Pilates certification through Club Pilates after first being introduced to the healing and life-changing benefits of Pilates when she worked at a Pilates studio. Inez now likes connecting mind to body through her cueing in her classes. She loves working with the exo chair and controlled variations of planks. She also likes to focus on class flow, putting intention and connection on how one moves from one exercise to another; this translates on how one moves throughout their day. She used to dance tahitian and hula, so using slow, controlled and graceful movement as one flows from movement to movement has always shaped the way she's looked at movement.

  • Meera Fox

Meera started teaching Pilates five years ago after studying and practicing it for more than twenty years. Meera is an attorney for children and a fashion photographer as well. Her background in teaching comes from thirteen years of training Family Court lawyers, judges, mediators and evaluators how to recognize and respond to child abuse and domestic violence. Meera recognizes the beneficial and rewarding qualities of being an instructor. Teaching Pilates keeps her centered and satisfied. Watching her students’ commitment to health and fitness pay off in strength, beauty and well-being inspires Meera every day she is at Club Pilates. You can follow her photography adventures on Instagram @meerafox, or on her fashion photography website.

  • Nicki Sparks

After relocating from Southern California to the Bay Area, Nicki decided to increase her involvement with Pilates from member and student to instructor. She's found that balance in her life is critical and Pilates allows her to decompress and connect with her body in a new and exciting way. Nicki decided to pursue her comprehensive Pilates certification through Club Pilates and wants to share this balance with the community. She loves working with the Bosu and barre, utilizing functional movement to improve posture in every day situations.

  • Cheyenne Avant

Cheyenne’s first exposure to Pilates was a mat class that she quickly fell in love with.  She had a misconception about Pilates being for dancers only, and upon taking a few classes, and speaking with the inspirational instructors, realized it’s for everyone!  After taking classes consistently, she realized she hadn’t felt this strong since her soccer days years ago! She decided to become certified so she could help others feel strong and healthy too.  She completed the comprehensive 500-hour Club Pilates training.  Cheyenne loves to focus on challenging balance and coordination and incorporating the magic circle (or ring of fire to some) into her workouts! She prides herself on making her classes lighthearted, humorous, and fun.
